Default Adding PS to 1966 Fairlane

Hello,
I'm trying to help my dad get his 1966 Fairlane GT on the road. He's wanting to add power steering and disc brakes on the front. I'm having issues finding a for sure kit to complete the conversion. His car is a 390 4 speed with manual steering at the moment. I have read online where people claim you can run a manual steering gear box and add the pump and lines and you're good to go. Has anyone else done this? Also unsure where the lines would connect. Any info will be helpful.

Thanks!
Andy

Some had a cylinder mounted to the tie rod and anchored to the frame to assist with steering, but still requires a pump and lines to do the job..

Plan on replacing the steering gear as well. There's a big difference in steering gear ratios between power and manual steering systems. I am for originality and making those changes to your Fairlane will hurt the value big time if you ever decide to sell it.
