Just curious if anybody knows if any modern day mustang running gear can be bolted to a 1965 ford galaxie 500

 

I don't remember the specific year, but I did read somewhere that a guy used a modern day mustang rear end to a Fairlane of my year. I believe the set-ups are pretty similar between your galaxie and my fairlane, thus I think you should be able to find something that works. Sorry I don't have anything more concrete than that for you.

Check Hot Rod Magazine online or do a google search (if you haven't already), that usually nets something for me.
