Default How much horsepower does my Fairlane have???

Hello Everyone,
I have a 64 Fairlane 500 with a 289 V8. The previous owner switched the 2-barrel carb to a 4-barrel, installed a dynaflow duel exhaust, and put on a k&n filter. I'm curious if anyone can guesstimate what the current horsepower is as to satisfy my curiosity. What I'm finding online is that the stock hp was 271.
Thanks in advance.

Your '64 289 2bbl was rated at 195 HP,the 4bbl version was rated at 225 HP. The solid lifter Hi-Po was the 271 HP model. What your current HP might be is anybody's guess.

Thanks 94svt. 271hp definitely seemed high. 195hp makes a lot more sense. I did some more research online and found the following...
Switching to a 4-barrel carb can add, 15-20 more hp.
A K&N filter, 1-4 more hp.
A/m exhaust, 10-15 more hp.
So it looks like my hp is somewhere between 220 and 234. Sounds about right.
Any of you agree/disagree?
