Default My baby the first day I got her

I remember the day I first got my 1968 Fairlane 2door hardtop. It was my 16th birthday present from my grandparents. I thought I was the happiest person alive that day. And now that I'm throwing on a new paintjob she looks even better than the day she rolled out the factory, how'd you feel when you got your car?

Welcome to the site..

Where's the pictures

Had my first car at 15. Had it stored 'around the corner' from the folks house. Yep, unlicensed driver Was a Renault Gordini. But sold it, saved, and traded my Honda motorcycle with the cash and had a 62 Impala convertible sitting 'in front' of the folks place when I tuned 16. I remember not only feeling like I had arrived!! with the possibilty of being able to go anywhere I wanted (fuel, or lack of, being the determining factor) but more so the freedom of worry of not looking in the rear view with panic for the law closing in..
