Have you tried anything along the lines of a tune-up or anything else? If so, what have you tried so far?

Is the air cleaner filter in good shape? Are all of the plugs firing? Is the engine running fine at idle and while driving/accelerating?

yes the air filter is good and clean and all the plugs are firing, the motor starts and runs great and once you get up to speed it seemes to do ok the idal is smoth and it never seems to miss, when you asselrate it bogs down speed incresses but very slow if you just ease on the throtal it will gain speed much quicker

So you are saying that when you tried the external Fuel Pump and a bucket of fuel that did not help the problem and that the problem still existed?

Because that sounds like either a fuel pump getting ready to go bad, or partial blockage in your exaust or Cat converter.

I was starting to lean toeard the blocked catalytic converter or exhaust as well. Have you noticed the catalytic converter getting excessively hot or even red hot?

I have been asked about the cats and a previous owner has had them cut out and they have installed true dules with single chamber flowmasters needless to say the pipes are cleen I droped the pipes about a month ago to install a new trans and didn't notice any loose parts in the pipe... The pump I tryed didn't help the proublem but that's not to say that that pump was putting out enough flow
