Diesel provides superior low-end torque, better highway fuel economy, and improved towing capability—advantages that suit off-roading and long-distance driving. Many competitors (including current Jeep models) offer diesel choices, and adding one would broaden the Bronco’s appeal to customers who prioritize efficiency and torque over gasoline-only or hybrid options. I understand emissions and certification add cost, but offering diesel as an optional trim (targeted to markets and buyers who want it) would increase sales, improve resale value for some buyers, and make the Bronco a more versatile platform globally.
