I have a 86 bronco that the tailgate windw won't go down. I think it came off the track, was wandering how I could fix it with out taking it to a mechanic and what would be the easiest way to fix it Thanks

 

Climb in the back and take off the access panel. there is a switch attached to the door lock for the rear that will get stuck and not allow the window to go up or down. another thing to look in to is unbolting the rear window motor and seeing if it works with out the regulator attached. then check all grounds. the window will not come off track because it is bolted to the regulator and has very little play.
