Spongy brakes RABS light on '87 full size Bronco
Hi,
We just bought an 87 full size Bronco, we've had several in the past.
I noticed when we bought it the brake pedal would go to the floor if pushed hard without locking any of the brakes. Today I replace the master cylinder, bled the master cylinder and brakes. After all that I still get the pedal going to the floor and none of the brakes locking when I push hard on the pedal. It will stop the vehicle ok but I'm afraid of what will happen in an emergency.
Also, after replacing the master cyl. and bleeding the brakes the RABS light came on and stays on, it wasn't on before replacing the master cyl.. I used the original tank and fittings on the new master cyl.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. [/align]
