Ford Contour While only built on a short time span, the Contour was very popular with people of all driving styles, from the base model making for a great family car, to the SVT making a great track toy.

Default Anyone have a Contour SVT (1998-2000)

Gentlemen,
I accidentally ripped the wires out of the "valet" light button with my shoes. Can someone please do me a favor and let me know the configuration?? There are 3 wires, but the "valet" light button only has 2 contacts. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Just speculating here,
I would suppose one of the wires is a ground wire for the light.
One of the other two is a hot supply to the switch.
The third is the wire from the switch to the light.
If you had a test lite or voltmeter available , it would help distinguish which was which otherwise you could try different combinations and wind up blowing fuses etc.

Yup i probably blew the fuse since the light no longer turns on and the car wont turn over due to the valet switch.
