So I recently bought my 94 with a non-working aftermarket stero in it. The previous owner says it worked fine then one day the stereo started acting up then quit. So, assuming it was an issue with the stereo itself I bought a new one and installed it. But again no power to the stereo. I have checked the wiring and fuses over many times but they are fine. What else could it be?

 

When you check the wiring, use a light tester and find out if you have power to the yellow wire behind the radio (on the aftermarket radio harness) constantly, and the red wire on the same harness for power when the key switch is on.
