My '98 Contour (4-cylinder) had a bad oil pan. I was able to order the pan and it replaces the original perfectly. But the only gasket that shows as available for the car at parts houses online and local is the Felpro OS30686R. It doesn't remotely fit the pan. It's too big and it isn't the same shape as the oil pan. I wrote Felpro to tell them about the problem.

If you need a gasket, it may save several trips back and forth to the parts house and search time on the Internet to simply order it from a Ford dealer.
