I need a trans for a 1997 contour, it's a 4 cylinder

 

CHACHING!!!! Get another contour on ebay for the same price as a new tranny!!!!!!lol.

 

Check wrecking yards in your area usually the cars are working ok moments before the cause of them being there. Then find a shop that really knows someting about Contour trannys. There are specific issues regarding proper installation.
