I am looking into a 2000 CVi, but it doesnt drive. It only has reverse. The guy told me "someone told him its the drive bands in the transmission'. In reality, how much will this cost me to get fixed? I wanted to get one of these vehicles for years, and finally found one at a decent price. Any help would be appreciated. He said it goes in reverse fine, but when it does kick into drive, it only goes 1-2 MPH. help please? lol

 

There could be several reasons for no drive application. If the price is that good will it still cover a trans replacement?
