Default 2009 Mustang Seats in 2009 Crown Vic P71

Hey everyone, new guy here!

I had a 2009 Crown Vic P71 and I have a set of 2009 mustang seats to install. They're way more comfortable than the blown out old municipal vehicle seats I've been sitting on for a year. My primary concern is that I'd like to keep the side impact air bags functional. The mustang seats still have them and the wiring in tact. I saw on another crown vic forum that someone did 06 mustang seats in an 09 CV, swapped the air bag connector from the CV seats to the mustang seats and everything worked fine, no airbag lights and (most importantly) no accidental deployment. Obviously that's a legitimate concern. Does anyone have any information or experience in doing this swap? Specifically (since I'm unable to test this without running current through the airbag), what is the resistance value of the airbags in both vehicles? This would indicate if the light would go on for high or low resistance.

Aside from the airbags being my main concern, I have confidence that I can get the power seat functions to work properly if I can find a pinout or wiring diagram for the under seat connectors for both vehicles. If anyone has information on those, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Hopefully I'll tear into it this weekend a bit and have something to report back. If I can pull this off, I'll certainly include pictures!

Thanks!

-Bryan
