Angry electrical or mechanical?

I have a 1993 Ford Crown Vic LX. I have a question about a headlight switch. How do I find out if i need a switch for an electrical or a mechanical cluster? Thanks.

If you turn on your headlights by pulling out on the headlight switch ****, you have a mechanical cluster. If the headlights turn on by turning the headlight switch, it's electrical.
