Fast Turn Signal Flash Condition

Fast Turn Signal Flash Condition
My 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis has developed the dreaded Fast Turn Signal Flash Condition, fast flashing whether it be right or left turn signal.
No bulbs are out front or rear.
I was wondering if those of you who have 2000 Crown Vics had the same problem.
I have read that there are some TSB's #15130, 01213, and 0297 on this subject but no specifics as to how to repair the problem.
Has anyone experienced this issue recently, and did the dealer repair it without charge being that there are TSB's?
Has anyone repaired the problem themselves, and if so, how did you do it?
Thanks.

fast turn signal flash
I have a 1997 vic that had the same issue, have you checked the turn signal light bulbs? in mine a turn signal light bulb had burnt out and the issue went away after I replaced the bulb. It seems that there are 2 bulbs per side making it difficult to tell from the outside that one of the two is blown. Let us know what you find.

I just looked at all the TSB's for your vehicle and can find none on Ford repair site. We have replaced the multi-function(turn signal)swith and cured some. Others were fixed by replacing the Lighting Control Module. Check all the lights again. We have had a lot of new bulbs blow the first time they were lit up. So we now test every one outside the housing. Good luck.
