if you look at the door sticker on the car, it will give a description of stuff about the car. look at the sticker and see what it says under AX. here is a rearend write up of different rear gear ratios and whether or not it is a trac-lok(posi) or an open rearend. the year you have wouldnt have traction control in it.

Open rear/Trac-Lok/Ratio #

ok i looked and i have 3.08 gears but when i put the cold air intake in it there was a thing on the anti lock unit that said traction assist on it..i looked in a service manual an it say that traction is active until 34mph and it deactivated when the brake is applied..if i try to burnout it wont if i apply alittle brake just enough to make the brake light go on it roasts the tires..theres no switch to turn it off either..i need to by pass this....

you would have to mess with the ABS system in order to bypass it if it has it.

thats why i like my older CV. regular old power brakes and no ABS. more stuff there is, the more issues i have with cars.
