whats up with this part going bad!!!! i have a 2009 crown vic p71, a freind of mine has bought several ( 5 ) p71s for his kids and brothers, the years range from 2005 thru 2008. 3 out 5 he has replaced that damn blend door actuator. my question is before i go through the hell of replaceing this part, does anyone know of a better aftermarket part ? apparently the one ford keeps useing is CRAP!!!!!

 

Better? Good luck! Cheaper? Yes: At O'Reilly's I bought mine for about $40 and it broke again after 2 or 3 years. The replacement was $ 0.00 because they have a lifetime warranty.
