Default keyless entry

'99 CV LX with keyless entry. For security reasons, I need to change the code for unlocking the car. The owner's manual tells how to add other codes, but I've been told that the original factory set code will always be present. This won't work for me because a less than trustworthy individual is privy to that code. I've been told that I can swap some module out so that I no longer have the same preset code. I do not have the funds to purchase another module. The keyless entry is fused in the #8 position under the dash, along with power windows, power mirrors, lighting control module, just to name a few, so pulling the fuse is not an option. Does anyone know the wire coloring for the keyless entry circuit? My plan is to install a switch in that circuit under the dash so I can disable it whenever the need arises.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Rob
