More power for me too.
So heres my situation, I've got a 96 CV. I don't know to much about cars yet, but I'm getting there. I took an intro to auto mechanics class, and now I'm in a class about working on engines. In this class I plan to fit on a mustang cold air intake (K&N thinks crown vics don't need them apparantly), add a much better exaust system, a chip, and also a classmate of mine suggested I add bigger fuel injectors. I think its got something like 22 lb injectors now, so what I would like to know is if bigger ones would be worth getting, and if so what size.
Also, I seem to remember someone saying that you could take the piston heads off a junkyard 5.4 liter truck engine and put them on a 4.6. First of all, is that true, and if so is it worth doing?
By the way, I would supercharge it or put in a bigger engine, but until I graduate money is an issue so its not gonna happen yet.

Putting heads off a bigger engine will actuallu lower your compression. You will have more area in the combustion chamber. Injectors that flow more fuel are useless unless you have the spark and timing adjusted to the extra fuel.
If you can find a Lincoln 4.6 that has dual overhead cams, you can remove the front cover and loosen the adjusting bolts for the intake and exhaust timing and gain about 20hp just by loosening the one bolt. Brings HP to over 300 on that engine. No need to add anything else. It will almost be a drop in. You may need the underhood wiring and PCM.

Your '96 CV has Non PI (NPI) heads. Later model CV's (2001+) and 1999 up 4.6L Mustangs had Performance Improved (PI) heads and a differnet intake manifold. Putting PI heads and intake on a non-PI engine is a common upgrade for older CV's. This mod is supposed to be good for a 25-30 hp increase. You can also add a larger Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor along with a larger throttle body and upper intake to help increase air flow. "way2old" is rigtht, no need to use bigger injectors unless you do some of the mods above first. More fuel doesn't do much good without more air.
