I drive several 2002 -2004 P71s, about 12 of them. They seem to get a whopping 10-14mpg. What can I do as I drive about 150 miles a day, and I pay for fuel to increase the economy. Since there several cars, and I don't own them, permanent mods are out. Some cars have over 400,000 miles on the odometer, the lowest has about 75,0000.

P71 is a Police Interceptor built Crown Vic. If you are driving in town, that is close to the best mileage you are going to get. We have 525 in our fleet and we average about 12 mpg.

 

That sucks. $30-$40 per shift bites.
