P71 ignition? problem
Engine runs rough, stalls at lights, no power at lower speeds. The code reader said cylinders 1 and 2 are misfiring. I replaced all the spark plugs (they needed it anyway), tested the coils and made sure the connectors were clean. This did not solve the problem and I am at a loss as to what to check next. Any ideas?

Welcome to the site..
How many miles on the clock?
If the code reader is accurately coding for a hard misfire (?) on 1&2, 3 things are always needed for balanced engine performance. Compression, Fuel delivery, and ignition.. Certainly there are other possibilities for a cylinder/s to drop out, or perform weakly, but the first 2 should always be checked as well, more so for base engine issues if high mileage or just random failures..
Since you generally checked for ignition, were the coils moved? to see if the misfire moved as well. Comp checked when plugs replaced? Injectors, and/or moved? Wet with fuel? Sometimes the best way to move forward is to prove out 'whats not' the problem.
Any service/repair history? How long has the driveability performance been an issue?
