Default Pulling 4.6 2V with Zytel intake

Having never pulled a modular Ford engine I was wondering where and what you use to grab or hook too. Also is it better to pull engine and transmission together or seperate. Modulars are a very different animal than 289's and 302's. It's coming out of a Crown Vic with the front end off. It will be going back in a Crown Vic with the front end on. Thanks for any and all help I appreciate it. Sunfish

Remove the wiper module and there are bolt holes in the heads. You can either do that, or find longer bolts and swap 2 intake bolts to pull engine. Just be careful that you don't damage the valve covers. We pull both ways. If front end is off, it is super easy to pull as a unit. When you drop it in the complete car, use a floor jack under the transmission to help it to slide rearward.
