Default ‘84 E150 5.8 Need Front Tank Fuel Sending Unit

Fuel Tank Sending Unit Needed for front 18 gal. tank in ‘84 E150 with 5.8L.

Hello, I’ve been looking everywhere trying to find a new fuel tank sending unit for the front tank in my van. I found a rear fuel sending unit and that’s pretty common.… But I need the front. I bought this 84 Econoline a couple months back and it only has 36,000 miles on it. It’s been sitting in a very long time and I’ve had issues with the front tank...so I am going to have it replaced. I have everything ordered, but I can’t find this front sending unit. Does anybody have a part number or information on where to pick one up? I really appreciate it!

Thank you for your response. I went to their website and looked. From what I saw, they had a sending unit for later Econoline van but I’m not sure that would work. I kind of wonder if there is a sending unit that would interchange. I know that the front tank is an 18 gallon tank and I’m not sure if anything else would fit.

Your best bet is to call them and ask. They should be able to provide that answer.

Thank you for your help! I ended up finding it by calling the Ford dealership and getting the original part number. Then, I went online and typed in the original part number and found a company that had it. They were NOSpartsltd.com. I did call the vendor that you mentioned and they didn’t have it...but it was worth checking and I appreciate that.

The part number for others that may find this thread and need it is: EOUZ9275A ($118.00)
