1975 E250 Original Cruisaire RV Conversion; C6 Transmission Gasket Replacement
Hello! This is my first post here.
I recently purchased an (As titled) RV E250. I intend to drop the transmission to replace the pan-gasket, oil filler tube O-ring, and the pump and rear main seals. . I've found this link:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/articles...llation-guide/
It contains text instructions but I was hoping someone here has a more visual aid?
Is it possible to rent a specific adapter for a hydraulic jack?
any tricks to removing the trans that aren't included in this list?
any warnings of strict DON'TS while doing this job?
what should I look for while the transmission is out?
Any and all help is appreciated!
____
EDIT 1
This part fell into the Pan as I brought it down to drain. What is it? Where does it go? Mystery part has got me anxious..

______
EDIT 2
Mystery part is a part from the assembly line to block debris from entering thru the filler tube hole before adding the tube. Guess the folks at ford figured giving people a mild aneurism would be an alright option.... WHY?
Cordially,

I dropped the pan, and a small yellow plastic bit fell out while letting the pan down. I hadn't touched anything inside the housing.
I can't share pictures right now so hopefully my detailed description will be enough:
It is shaped like a spinning top, yellow, one o-ring seal on the meaty part.
Total dimensions, 2" long, 1" wide. The "Spindle" is 1and1/4" has a diameter of 1/4", and the large body is 3/4" long with the 1" diameter.
Is it a servo piston? there is no valving, or any springs.
