Default 1987 E350 steering issue

Hi, I'm having a steering issue with my old van, wondering if anyone has any idea what could be causing it.
I'm hearing a loud metal-on-metal grinding noise whenever I turn left, mostly when the front of the van is bouncing over bumps in the road. From what I can tell the noise is coming from the front passenger side, probably at the front passenger tire. I checked for anything loose around the tire where the tire could be rubbing against something but I couldn't see anything.
Could it be something pushing up against the rotor as the shocks compress??

Were you able to remove the R/F wheel to see if the rim might be contacting something with a hard left turn?
