I recently purchased a 1994 E-150 Conversion, 5.8L engine, AOD trans, with an intermittent miss. Its almost like the key is being turned on/off. It will miss at idle and normal driving, but stops upon heavy acceleration. Runs great other than that. Previous owner replaced plugs, wires, distributor, coil, but didn't get into the fuel system. He stopped short of the computer. Anyone else ever had this problem? thanks
Recently checked all vacuum hoses for kinks/ok, checked EGR/ok, fuel pressure/ok, no codes showing up . . .
Replaced fuel injectors . . . no help :-( THEN, Relaced PCM . . . problem SOLVED!!!! ;-)
