Default 1995 ford shuttle bus runs poorly after 30 minutes

Hey guys,

I got a 1995 ford shuttle bus with a 7.5 L gasoline engine. It says e350 on the registration.... were converting it to a tailgating bus... I've done a basic tune up on the bus... air filter, fuel filter, oil change, spark plugs and wire. It runs better no ticks anymore and feels more powerful... I recently took it out on a long drive and it drove great for about 30 minutes. I felt a funny rumble inside the car and then all of a sudden it had very poor acceleration. Even if you pumped the gas it wouldnt want to go anywhere. Then I pulled over on the side of the rode stopped for about a min or so... started the car up and had power again. I began to head home it drove fine for about 10 mins and the same thing happened. I pulled over let it sit and started it up again and had power again. Any idea what this is? Where should i start troubleshooting?

As a first step, I'd put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and monitor the pressure/volume when it starts to stall out to be sure its not a fuel delivery problem..

There's a schrader valve on the right/passenger side forward of the fuel rail.. Pressure should be about 35/45 with just the key cycled ON, or if running about 30/45ish..

When it started to stall, would it still idle fine? Did it misfire?

It would have no power, the idle sounded rough and i could hear a thump from the engine bay(under my feet) if i would pedal the gas. I just pulled off the road parked it turned it off let it sit for a few mutes and restarted it the engine was now running fine again and had torque. Any ideas?
