OK I have a 1998 E250. The Heat works great the problem is I cant get it to come out of the vents in the dash. The air only seems to blow in mixed mode which is defroster and floor.

I see from diagrams that there are three vacuum actuators. I found the one on the passenger side down by the floor near the kick panel. When I play with the blend **** the actuator here seems to move fine.

The vacuum lines leaving the control to the actuator seem to be in ok condition and connected.

For the life of me though I cannot seem to see the two actuators that are supposed to be behind the radio/climate control. I removed the dash trim and see nothing there. Am I missing something? Does anyone have actual pics of where I should be looking?

Is it possible that since the one actuator I know is working that the others are working and it might be the climate control unit?

Any help is appreciated the heat works but on really cold days it takes forever for the van to heat up with only the floor and defrost blowing!

 

They should be under the upper center instrument panel on top of the dash.
