I have a 99 e150 that I need to tear down the engine (4.6) on.
If it's trash, I'm looking at a full swap and am wondering my options as far as dropping in something newer that's compatible or even if the V10 would fit without too much alteration.

 

You don't want a V 10. Bad engine. They have a history of blowing out spark plugs and head bolts. And factory gas mileage was 8-10 mpg.
