I've removed the AC component that sits inside the passenger interior compartment; It was hanging in the back. It had four lines running to it: High, Low refrigerant, and Coolant supply/return. I cut the coolant lines and bridged them together with a male-male brass fitting and worm clamps; no issues here. I cut the high and low rubber lines, and stuck some home-made brass pipe plugs with worm clamps into each. This works okay, but after a few weeks I seem to lose some pressure; although not all of it, which confuses me. Anyway, I bought some proper click type block offs: I went to install these and realized I either cut off the connector they should go to or my AC system was customized in a way that didn't have these to begin with (its a commercially modified van with high roof and wheel chair lift; since removed).
TLDR;
I traced the AC lines and in order to delete the rear High and Low lines, it looks like I can just remove the T connections. I've attached pictures. In red I think I can connect these directly, in green is the line to be removed. Does anyone have experience with these connectors? Do they have O-rings in them? Is there some sealant tape on them? Is this a good idea? or is it going to be hard to re-seal these once I disconnect them.
