4x4 van conversion
 

Currently trying to start a 1999 E350 2wd to 4wd conversion, already have axles, drive shafts, transfer case and front 6 inch leaf springs, has anyone done this before? Looking for some part numbers and such of things I might need or want. Any help would be much appreciated thank you!

hmmm, I just joined, after more than one year, it appears like you found no interest and no response to your questions. Maybe we are not in the correct forum? What research did you do when sourcing the parts? What makes best donor parts vehicle? If you know. I have a 99 E250 extended, high-top that I converted into a motovan. Now thinking about the 4WD conversion also.

Nearly anything can be converted with enough time, cash, and determination.
Back in the late 70’s we used to converter gas F250’s to Perkins, Detroit Diesels. Most of which involved much fab. If converting from 2x4 to 4x4 if you have a donor truck would help eliminate many hurdles. Better if it’s was manual 4x convert and not ESO4 etc..
