96 E150 ABS Code 34
New here , so greetings from NW Iowa😀
Working on a 96 E150 that had code 34 blinking. Going thru the step by step troubleshooting for this and wondering about the drivers side air bag simulator? Can I just put in a resistor and be accurate testing that way? Or do I need the special tool? I tried a piece of resistor wire starting out at about 2 ohms and kept snipping bits off of it and retesting, but still code 34. Open on the wires from the module on up to the air bag, so no shorts there. What can you tell me worked for you as a simulator, or if I go buy one, which one am I looking for?
This is a 4 wheel ABS system
Thanks
