Default '98 E-350 Power Locks - intermittant

Hi,
Have a '98 E-350 Club Wagon with power door locks. The locks have become maddeningly intermittent. I noticed first that the lock on the front driver side would unlock all doors (front pass, side, rear left, rear right) but not relock them. I did some googling and replaced the rocker switch in the front driver side. Worked great for a time and then would not work. And then it would work .. then the same thing started happening on the passenger side. :-( Intermittent.

On this van, the only other place with a power lock rocker switch is on the rear passenger door -- and that has always seemed to work -- except when one of the other two has failed. I replaced it anyway!

Is there some other relay in this circuit? I went to one Ford dealership and they said there wasn't -- but I'm skeptical.. this doesn't seem like wiring that is failing -- I mean how often do factory wire bundles fail? (although I'm probably wrong about that..) Anywhere else I should look?

I know this is a few months old, but I have the same issue...but with all 3 sets of locks. The drivers, the passenger and the rear trunk lock/unlock buttons don't work. I was just going to look into a relay or fuse or something. Did you ever find your culprit? Broken wire in the door or something?
