Does anyone know what this plastic part is for?

Plastic piece that fell out of 1998 E350 V10 engine compartment. Don't know it's purpose.

Not an OEM part. You can tell the 4 holes were drilled in a rush and didn't drill cleanly they were not align. Instead of trying to identify this plastic, I would look for the 4 screws if they are still screwed into something and if you can't see the screws look for the holes about 3 inch apart
its purpose maybe to stop something from vibrating.

Yeah, I thought it was kind of odd, and there are actually only three holes. Thanks.
