Default Driver seat swap

Am wanting to swap out the OEM driver seat for a Swivel Captain Chair, but have not found any information about any mounts that would work.

Has anyone done this?
Any suggestions?

Guess I should have mentioned that the van is the 2002 E350 SD Extended, as I recently heard that 1997 -2002 are basically the same vehicle. That makes me THINK that any of the group should fit.

Thanks -- Santa

My 91 E-150 had stock lowback buckets, but was given cloth highback captains chairs with it when I purchased the van. I honestly don't know what year/trim van they came out of, but they were a direct bolt up

Steve:
Alas, was not able to make any aftermarket swivels work for the driver side.

To produce extra room between the seat and the steering wheel, I basically moved the entire seat base back 2.5 inches. This with the 7 inches of bracket slide made getting in and out much easier.

Thanks for that. So you used the swivel that came installed for the back seats?

NO.
When I got it, there was no swivel anywhere.
I found 2 pieces of galvanized steel (2" wide x 24" long) at Lowe's.
I removed the 4 Star-bolts that attach the seat to the floor
I drilled a 3/4" hole near the end and measured back 2.5" and drilled another one.
I measured the distance between the holes on each side and drilled the corresponding holes. (MAKE NOTE: The two sides are different.)
I attached the strips to the bracket with lock-nuts, then attached the remaining holes with the Star-bolts.

Santa,
Thx again. Moving the seat back to allow a swivel, and create more space...great!
