Default Econoline Van won't start after warm-up.

Ater engine warms up it won't start. Turns over real slow like a dead battery. I have replaced battery, alternator, starter and voltage regulator. Still is the same... Could it be the coil getting hot and not working???? Please help.

Check the ground cable for corrosion that is hard to see. Use ohm meter to check for resistance in cable.
Tempratures go up and so does the resistance in wiring.

Thanks Oscar,
You have great troubleshooting skills. I fixed the problem back in '05. It took me maybe a month to figure it out. I had called an uncle who's a very good auto mechanic he had me check the ground cable from the battery. I disconnected it fom the battery and gave it a little tug. I was amazed.... The cable had corroded and broken down near the attach point at the block. I couldnt believe it.
I had spent nearly $180 replaceing ignition parts not to mention the labor. I am pleased to say that it's running great a year later.
Thanks for the posts.
Jonathan
