Default King Pin Replacement

I have an '88 E-250 that I wish to lower. AirBagIt make dropped I-beams for the Es and I thought that while I'm replacing the beams, I should replace the king pins. I went to Galpin Ford in LA (biggest Ford dealer on the planet) and was told that the pins come in several different sizes, but only the biggest was still available. I bought a set and sure enough, they are too big. Mine measure 1" or maybe a whisker over that, and the ones I bought measure 1.25". I may send them back or try to sell them but I still need the correct pins. If Ford no longer has them, is there anywhere else I could get them from? I've tried LMC but no luck there. Thanks.
Dave.

Have you looked on rockauto.com? They use multiple suppliers for their nation wide stock. That's where I tend to find "Non-Stock", or "No longer made" items.

Glad to hear that. I usually start/purchase there for availability/pricing before shopping/hunting elsewhere.

Those king pins can be a real stinker to get out, did many of them. Since you are replacing the I beams a hyd press would make the job a lot easier if you have access to one. Also , you may need a straight thru reamer to fit the pins to the new bushings.
