Default Multiple fuel pumps in a e350 ?

Ive read that some mid 80s e350 RVs with a 460 cubic inch motor have multiple fuel pumps. So the main pump in the yank and a high pressure pump somewhere else. Has anyone heard of this ? I have a 95 shuttle bus on a e350 chassis and 460 motor. I am wondering if anyone can confirm this and tell me where to look. My car is running poorly after 30 mins of driving making me think its a fuel pressure issue. That the main pump is only supplying pressure for so long. I think this because wen the car is shut off and restarted it runs good again.

Thanks - Mark

If your vehicle has two tanks there is a low pressure pump in each tank.
There is a high pressure pump on the inside of the driver's side frame rail approx under where the driver's feet set on the floor.
Your symptoms are not necessarily a fuel pump problem. The best way to make sure is to get a fuel pressure reading at the time it won't start.
