Default Pull Bar / Trailer Harness ?

We had a 1998 Ford Econoline ConversionVan a few years back that we sold.

For some reason, weremoved the pull bar that was attached to the frame forpulling trailers. Is it called a pull bar or trailer harness? I don't know the difference.

Can someone tell me? Were the frames for these vans the same through the years or did they change with new models being rolled out?

If they did change through the years, can someone tell me from what year to what year the 1998 frame would fall under?

Can someone tell me, if these can be installed on other makes / models? ie., pickup truck, SUV, Lincoln, etc.

Basically, we are looking to this piece of steel. It's sillyto keep it, if it could be used by someone out there.

Trailer hitch frame. The harness is the electrical plugs and such.
You can web it by collecting the the model number if applicable on the hitch frame. Or take that information to an auto parts store. They'll tell you.
