Default 2005 eddie bauer trailer harness

I am buying a2005 eddie bauer that has a factory hitch and a 4 prong trailer plug. The dealer says that there is no factory harness replacement to upgrade to a 7 prong. They suggested the aftermarket. There is a trailer brake controller wire hanging next to the current plug. Has anyone had any experience swapping to the 7 prong and how easy it is? This is my first Ford and I love it. Thanks

Manual shows avaiable 7 prong for 05 Expedition as pictured.. Look at the connector next to the 4 prong, does it look like the one in the second picture 'minus' the actual connector?

It only has the flat 4 prong plug. There is no harness connector as far back as I traced the wires (past the spare tire). The 4 wires for the harness are in one bundle, and the brake controller wire is seperate at the plug. I guess I could run a hot wire from the battery and just install a 7 prong, but I was hoping for a factory option. What I have looks like the lower plug in picture 1
