Default Rear anti-lock brakes light

I can't find the problem causing the rear anti-lock brake light to stay on. It started when I replaced the rear brake pads. Since then I bled the lines at each wheel and at the device that pulses the brakes if the wheels are locked.(not sure what that is called) I have cleaned the sensor in the rear axle. Tested the sensor to see if the contacts closed when the end is moved close to metal. No problem there. Disconnected the cable from the battery post to see if it would reset. I thought I would see if anyone had any ideas before I purchase a new sensor or anything else.
