suggestions for selling 1984 Econoline E-350
Hi everyone,
New to the forum here and hope it's ok for my first post to be about selling a van.
My mom is in West Virginia (near Beckley) and has a 1984 Econoline (350). I'm looking for suggestions (and experiences) trying to sell an older Econolone.
Not looking for a lot of money for it. The interior is in pretty good shape. It has the captain's chairs, removable tables and has the rear seat that folds down into a bed. The side windows have curtains for privacy and have screens so you can open them but keep bugs out.
I'm normally pretty good at online research. I tried Craigslist but that didn't yield any useful results (though have had success there before). Was considering the "bringatrailor" site . . . but just not sure.
I see the "used cars" section here but that seems to be more high-end vehicles.
Again, not looking to make money on it, just would prefer to sell it to someone with an interest in this kind of vehicle rather than selling it for scrap.
Thanks in advance!
Remo.

I have never tried it but marketplace on facebook is a good option to craigslist. I have sold a lot of items including a car on craigslist successfully but have also had issues with some people answering an ad on C.L. I try to meet at a shopping center with the smaller items but get many no shows on larger items after giving out my address to meet. Some get a kick out of it.
Don't overdo the pictures, let them find out things when you meet them. You could cushion your price slightly to allow some haggling. I have found if someone comes to meet from 15-20 miles away is to stand firm on your price. They will try to haggle, they know the price coming in and I never had someone go home empty handed after driving that 15-20 miles to check out something. Give them credit for trying. Good kuck.

Thanks Raski!
I heard a lot of people mention the Facebook marketplace. I've avoided Facebook for a long time but might have to break down and try that.
I guess a lot of if is just finding that 1 person who is specifically looking for a particular item. Several years ago I had success on Craigslist selling my mom's 1994 Mercury Tracer (as you can tell she is a loyal Ford person). After 3 weeks or so, one guy in Ohio called me, who had always had a Tracer from that timeframe and that's all he was interested in. He drove 150 miles each way with his son, met at the DMV, and deal was done
