Default Tires for my E350

Its about time to replace the tires on my 2008 E350. I've got Michelins on there now, but they seem to give a harsh ride. Does anyone have a recommendation on tires ?

I really like the Firestone Transforce HT tires. The also have a more agressive "AT" version. About $706 for 4 tires mounted and balanced is what I found to be the best price around here for the HT version.

There are several types of tires available for your vehicle. A lot depends on where and when you plan to drive. A good hiway tread will give you a decent ride and better mileage , but is not always the best if you drive in snow or snow conditions.
Aggressive tires are better in that case , but there is a sacrifice in mileage, they wear out faster and can be a little noisier. There is almost always a trade off.
I have found Bridgestone and Michelin will give you your money's worth. Again it might be best to check with various suppliers and see what they have to offer. I'm pretty sure you need to have 10 ply tires no matter which brand you select.

I could not agree more with you. Bridgestone and Michelin tires are also excellent choices.

If it's a work truck go with the Transforce HT or AT tires.
If it is passenger Van go with Bridgestone Dueller Alenza HL's.
Michelin makes a great tire also with the LTX.

If you do any towing make sure you get a Load Range "E" tire.

I have actually used all three tires mentioned on different Trucks & Luxury Suv's and I'm very happy with the results. You cant go wrong.
