Hello I have a 15 passenger Ford van with a 460 7.5 I went to change the vss on the rear differential pulled it out it was shorter than the one I just bought, did it break off? Or did I just buy the wrong part? When I put my finger in the hole I can feel o rings and what feels like flat piece that moves up and down any help I would be appreciated. The new one doesn't feel like it wants to pop in.
