Default 14 Limited Back Up Camera Question

Hello, has anyone had to troubleshoot their rear view camera? Thank you

Our camera comes on and off daily, when it does not work it says to see the dealership.
We updated our vehicle software and that did not do it.

Is replacing the camera ourselves a difficult process?
What else could an owner try to do before taking it in for service?

Thank you folks

Replacing the camera is harder on your vehicle then others but still possible to do yourself. You will need a new tailgate ford embled. I can post the directions when I get home. You will still need to get the camera configured though, might cost 0.5 hours labor from the dealer.

Hi, thank you for the information.
If the camera is not plug and play and still rqeuires a dealership visit, I think I will just take it in and have them do it all.

Thank you for the reply and information, it was helpful.
