Hi, I'm new to the forum. I had a friend tell me that I could come here to find out what I wanted to know since the dealership can't seem to find the answer. I just bought a 2013 Edge SE, pretty much as base as you can get with this model, it doesn't even have auto headlights. I still love it so far, and it still smells new and not even 45k miles yet. I'm ecstatic! Lol. Anyways, I was wondering if I could actually connect my phone? Does that come with a really basic model or is that not on all models? I have the phone button, but all it does is just mute the audio? It doesn't have any other options like settings or menu, doesn't even try to connect at all to anything. It just has "audio mute" and no other options when you press the button.
Also, it has Sirius radio, but that doesn't work. Someone told me that I should have a few months subscription free since I just bought it?
I'm very new to all of this newer technology, I've never had a vehicle with it, and this is my first vehicle I've financed. So, all of this is really new to me. Sorry for the book and the rambling. If anyone could please point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful. I'm gonna try to call again Monday and ask Ford customer service. Thank you.

 

I have the exact same problem with my 2013 Edge trying to connect my phone. I can't figure it out other than maybe it's not supported with the version of sync system we have. Any help would be appreciated!
