Research says this code is caused by the canister purge solenoid valve. I ordered the part that is supposed to fit but I can not find this valve anywhere under the hood. Can someone please help me, I've been going crazy for weeks trying to find it.

 

OK, assuming you have the 3.5 duratech engine, remove the engine cover and you will see the valve on the intake manifold near the throttle body.
Its the blue thing in this picture.
