2019 Edge Titanium, Blind Spot indication
I have a 2019 Edge Titanium with all the bells and whistles. The Blind Stop indication system is a problem for me. The system works as stated in the manual. A car approaching on either side shows a yellow light in the appropriate outside mirror and if you signal a turn in that direction the light flashes. My problem is that in the sunlight these lights are hard to see even for one with good peripheral vision. Where as an older drive the reason for purchasing a car with all the bells and whistles. With so many computers in the vehicle (35), is there a way to have an audio tone similar to the cross traffic alert as well as the visual. Thanks for any help

According to Ford, the only time BLIS chimes for 2019 is when it detects cross-traffic while reversing.

Thanks for the info. I realized that this was the case, Ford’s solution. Being a old computer guy, and that the Edge is overloaded
with computers, that someone out there has found a third party that has programmed this a solution to this flaw.
