Default Coolant Temp Sensor

Having problem with cooling fans not coming on. I want to change the Temp sensor but have no idea where it is located Any help appreciated. It's the 3.5 litre.

I would be happy to provide you with an image but I need some more information regarding the vehicle. Please give me the VIN or Year/Make/Model information.

Thanks for your help. It's a 2008 Ford Edge, 3.5 litre.

You may look at part number 9L8Z-6G004-C (available for sale here: #9L8Z6G004C: CYL HEAD TEMP SENSOR.) The attached diagram has this part number highlighted in green.
